Skills for transforming conflict: an interactive workshop
26 June 2018 - Come at 6pm for snacks.
Workshop to start at 6.30pm

Conflicts are an inevitable part of life, yet many of us avoid conflict as much as we can. This workshop is an opportunity to learn the skills to transform the way you see, experience and approach conflict – to value conflicts as opportunities to learn, deepen relationships, identify risks, and make positive, constructive change. The workshop is co-presented by Tim Foote (Reframe Aotearoa) and Peter Jacobson (Space for Change).

In this interactive workshop, you will:
β€’ develop a deeper understanding of your own relationship to conflict
β€’ practice tools for transforming conflicts
β€’ learn frameworks for approaching conflicts
β€’ understand when it might be helpful to get professional support with a conflict

This workshop will be helpful for everyone – and particularly people who are interested in improving how they respond to conflict. You will walk away with skills you can apply on a daily basis in your home, relationships and at work.

Accessibility: We're doing our best to design the workshop to be as accessible as possible. Please get in touch with Tim ( if you have any specific needs or requirements. The venue itself is wheelchair accessible and has accessible toilets.

Join us at the Newtown Community and Cultural Centre - corner Rintoul and Colombo Streets in Newtown - for this free workshop (normally $75pp). Turn up from 6pm for some snacks. The workshop will start at 6.30pm and conclude by 8:30pm.
